Running in both
Customers who keep a second copy of anything usually want it somewhere a single event cannot reach. Our two buildings are 8.8 miles apart by the shorter fiber route, on opposite sides of the Hackensack River, served by different utility substations, and at different elevations. They are close enough for synchronous replication and far enough apart that the same burst water main, transformer fire or road closure will not take out both.
| Between SEC1 and NWK1 | Route A | Route B |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 8.8 mi (14.2 km) | 12.2 mi (19.6 km) |
| Round-trip latency, measured | 0.15 ms | 0.20 ms |
| Fiber count | 288 | 144 |
| In service since | 2020 | 2021 |
We sell dark fiber pairs and 10, 100 and 400 Gb/s waves on both routes. See interconnection.
