Legal
Acceptable use policy
This policy applies to every customer and everyone on a customer’s access list, whether or not they buy network services from us.
01 Network
On the network
- Nothing unlawful, including infringing other people’s rights or distributing material that sexually exploits children, which we report to the authorities as the law requires.
- No attacks on other networks or systems: no denial of service, no scanning or probing without permission, no spoofed traffic, no open relays or open resolvers left that way after we have told you.
- No unsolicited bulk email.
- Announce only address space you are entitled to use, with valid route objects.
02 Buildings
In the buildings
- No photographs or video in shared spaces without our permission.
- No access to another customer’s space or equipment.
- No tailgating through mantraps or propping doors.
- No fuel, batteries other than those in your equipment, or open flames.
- No radio transmitters except those we have approved, such as licensed roof antennas.
- No disabling, covering or moving our cameras, readers or sensors.
03 Enforcement
Enforcement
We investigate reports sent to abuse@cordgrassdata.com. We will usually ask you to fix a problem first; we may suspend a service without notice where we must to protect our network, other customers or the public, or where the law requires it. Repeated or serious breaches are a material breach of the MSA.
